Data protection information: Bildungsberatungsstelle für Pflege- und Betreuungsberufe (Educational Counselling Centre for Jobs in Nursing and Care)
When providing educational counselling at the Bildungsberatungsstelle für Pflege- und Betreuungsberufe (Educational Counselling Centre for Jobs in Nursing and Care), AWZ Soziales Wien GmbH as the data controller processes the following personal client data:
- Personal details (e.g. name, date of birth, contact details)
- Details provided or collected during the counselling sessions (e.g. current job, level of education, country of origin, language skills)
These personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- Educational counselling
- Quality assurance, evaluation and improvement of services
As far as strictly necessary for meeting these purposes, personal data may be shared with the following institutions and/or persons:
- Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW)
- Funding institutions
- Universities of applied sciences, universities
- Other educational institutions
- Employers
The personal data described above are processed under the following lawful basis:
- Purpose a: necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); legitimate interest of AWZ Soziales Wien GmbH in providing smooth and client-oriented educational counselling (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Purpose b: legitimate interest of AWZ Soziales Wien GmbH in quality assurance and the improvement of services (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data will be stored only for as long as is strictly necessary. Afterwards the data will be deleted. Longer retention periods may result from legal obligations or proceedings.
Data subjects can exercise their rights to access, rectification or erasure of data, restriction of processing, data portability and objection by sending an e-mail to datenschutz-bz@fsw.at.
In addition, data subjects can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
